June 19, 2012 ~ The 58th annual Summer Fancy Food Show brought more than 200 exhibitors from Italy to Washington, D.C. The Italian Pavilion occupied an area of fancy food showapproximately 23,000 square feet and one could have spent a whole day tasting and chatting about the authentic Italian foods. Around the perimiter of the Italian section, a few Italian American companies were also showing their food specialties. We enjoyed appetizers prepared by Italian Chef Domenico Maggi at the tasting table for the Apulia Region. For dessert, we loved the authentic Sicilian cannoli from Sapori della Nostra Terra,
