11|02|04 ~ Three young tenors from Italy are about to hit our shores and America will be blown away! Piero Barone (who is from Agrigento, Sicily), Ignazio Boschetto (born in Bologna), and Gianluca Ginoble (who is from Abruzzo), won a American Idol-like competition in Italy in May 2009. They formed a group called "Il Volo," meaning "flight," to signify the feeling that these three young tenors are about to spread their wings and fly. Later this month they will be releasing IL VOLO, a self-titled debut album worldwide. It's already a top hit in Italy. They are also scheduled to perform in Los Angeles later this month. After listening to them online we have no doubt that they will conquer the hearts of not just Italian Americans but of all Americans.
