Maurizio Sacconi

Minister Sacconi has a degree in law. He is a contract Professor of economics and labour at the Economics Faculty of Tor Vergata University in Rome. He is also the President of the Association Marco Biagi’s Friends.

Undersecretary for Public Administration with the first Amato Government, responsible for the reform of government departments and public employment enacted by Legislative Decree 29/1993. At the same time, contract Professor of business economics at LUISS University in Rome.

1979-1994

Deputy for four legislatures:

Industry Committee (as chairman of the committee for industrial innovation) and then on the Budget Committee (he was rapporteur for the Finance Bill for 1983, 1984 and 1987).

1980-1981

 

National president of Lega Ambiente (the League for the Environment).


Author of articles and essays, including: “La finanza e la regola”, with preface by G. Amato, G. Carli and C.A. Ciampi (Longanesi, 1992); with others, “La tesi di Mario Rossi: le regole semplici della libertà responsabile” (Marsilio, 1994); the chapter “Eliminare il lavoro minorile” in “Una cultura dell'infanzia” (La Nuova Italia Scientifica, 1997); “La società attiva. Manifesto per le nuove sicurezze”, with Paolo Reboani and Michele Tiraboschi (Marsilio, 2004).
