10|04|19 - In the next several months, CiaoAmerica! Magazine will be reviewing how the National Italian American organizations spend our money! We were prompted to do this story by the Italic American Institute, which through its President, John Mancini, recently filed a complaint against the Columbus Citizen Fundation contending that the Foundation had not complied with its mission statement. There is no question that we need greater transparency in how our national Italian American organizations use our funds. Accordingly, we will be reviewing their filings with the Internal Revenue Service and reporting to our readers our findings!
