The Council for the Promotion of the Italian Language (COPILAS) will be honoring Giulio Terzi, the Italian Amb. to Washington at a black tie gala on April 2, 2011, at the Casa Italiana Cultural Center in Washington DC. Terzi is being honored for "his extraordinary and unparalleled leadership in his successful effort to reinstate the Italian Language Advanced Placement Test Program with the College Board." Anita Bevacqua McBride, former Chief of Staff for Laura Bush, will be the MC.
